The 909 Boyz were a Southern California hip-hop group based out of the Inland Empire from the city of Banning. Prior to the group forming, the Banning-based hip-hop artist Emil “Freeze (30)”/”E (28)” Kincey had made a name for himself locally recording mixtapes around the late 1980’s/early 1990’s.
