Casual (born Jonathan Owens) is an American underground rapper, record producer, and founding member of the legendary alternative hip-hop collective Hieroglyphics. Hailing from Oakland, California, he is highly revered in the West Coast underground scene for his incredibly sharp battle-rhyme style, witty punchlines, and complex, multisyllabic flow.
