Maker (born Marco Antonio Jacobo on October 24, 1978) is an American hip-hop producer, DJ, and composer based out of Chicago, Illinois. Emerging from the underground Chicago rap scene in the late 1990s, he has built a decades-long career rooted in boom-bap, rugged drum breaks, and meticulous sample-chopping.
