N.W.A legend Ice Cube shared the new video for his song, “Ain’t Got No Haters,” featuring Too $hort on Tuesday (March 26).
The video accompanies Cube’s long-awaited album, Everythangs Corrupt, shared last December.
Utilizing a black and white aesthetic, Cube and $hort two-step throughout the video while being showered by thousands of hundred dollar bills. Subliminal shots of gold bars, glasses of champagne, stacks of cash and poker chips all aid in executing the lavish theme of the money-making anthem. The duo’s rhymes and actions come to life with the help of a series of animated effects that visually echo the rappers punchlines.
The superstar actor/basketball mogul is currently wrapping up his tour with Snoop Dogg, Warren G and Tha Dogg Pound.
His second to last performance will take place at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison Colorado for the Merry Jane Wellness Retreat.
Closing out the tour on April 20, the famous stoner holiday, at 93.5 KDAY’s Krush Groove 10th Anniversary with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Mack 10, E-40, Warren G, Too $hort, DJ Quik, Tha Dogg Pound and MC Eiht.
